Given the amount of time DTG had with Flying Scotsman at Kings Cross, how is it, that the support coach is completely wrong in variant and has no branding? Within an ECML article, is states that the support coach is included, yet all DTG have done, is repaint a BG into maroon and not even gone about branding it. The support Coach is a BSK I believe. I can see WCRC being a lot less likely to give branding for railtour coaches, but i'm really surprised that the Railway Museum branding (well text in this case), is not present, given how much time DTG have had with Flying Scotsman and the NRM. One thing i'm not surprised by however, is that the support coach variant is incorrect. DTG have decided to cut a big corner, and reuse a BG, rather than recreating an accurate and faithful representation of the support coach.
There seems to be a creative block at DTG when it comes to expanding the range of Mark One vehicles, whether it’s the catering cars or additional vehicles like the BSK.
Pretty clear that this is because the in-game BG is already dual-braked (from NTP) unlike the rest of the Mk1s. Sorry to see that the same couldn't have been carried through to the other Mk1s.
The wagons of the Scotsman add-on are disappointing in general. This would’ve been the perfect moment to introduce a buffet coach, for example, and put some effort into the support coach (including the interior) so there’s a reason for players to use that cool little gangway/tunnel next to the tender. Instead they‘ve done none of that. Very sad as I was expecting the whole experience of heritage railway tours. Instead it’s just “here’s the loco and lots of inaccurate wagons, now run it up and down the line”. I was genuinely quite disappointed watching the stream yesterday after the amazing Vorarlberg and Antelope previews.
Maybe if we all ask nicely, they will include the correct coaches in the near future. How about it DTG?

We’re not getting anything guys To be fair, I guess you could argue they’re adding the modern version of the DB BR 628 for free for all Niddertalbahn owners with TSW4. That’s a cool move, but definitely not the norm.
“If it’s not on the roadmap…” As much as I’m still mostly looking forward to TSW4 this evening, we know that all this shiny new content, in about six months from now, will be consigned to the former content category.
@Vern There is a creative block at DTG full stop. Unless it involves modern rubbish, or handing out medals or make believe achievements. Thank goodness for the Train Sim Community mods.
Just to highlight again, the consist for The Fact Controller scenario has no brake vehicle at all, let alone the correct type of support coach. Rather fundamental oops on the part of whoever compiled the scenario.
Almost all the recent railtour consists, including SEHS and MML have no brake coach and always the wrong tail lamp. Maybe to them it seems like a insignificant detail but I think it is pretty important and stands out immediately to me. But we are still stuck with incorrect taillamps on most routes. GWE has freight with oil lamps, SOS has freight with no rear lamps and passenger coaches with two rear lamps.
