Xbox Flying Scotsman Safety System

    how can i shutup the Flying Scotsman's safety system its quiet annoying in real life theres away to do it you can keep the pressure below the safety's why isn't that in game

    You could try keeping the dampers shut but the FS steam generation is way OTT. Though funnily enough never seems to use any water from the tender…

    ive done it so open the blower and dampers and have the firebox open and it shuts up the safetys OldVern

    You want to reduce pressure. In the game opening the blower, firebox or dampers increases pressure.

    Try closing the blower and dampers. (0%)

    Whilst you are bombing along and the pressure is too high you can raise the cut-off to 75% and open the throttle fully for a few seconds. This will dramatically reduce your steam pressure and stop the valves from lifting for another few minutes.
    Obviously this is completely unrealistic but until DTG does steam properly, what can you do.

    Try and do a full run with dampers closed or only open to about 25%. You'll find pressure builds slowly. Obviously when going downhill there's no way to stop it rising without injecting water but we have no control over the water.
