This is joke can’t get the Scotsman to go it won’t move for no reason whatsoever spawned in Scotsman with 10 Mk1 coaches On WCML at Preston and it won’t move related the breaks but no power when moving the regulator DTG sort out your dam DLCs this is a joke

I’m stuck using air breaks because vacuum breaks don’t work I’ve used the consist that comes with the train I’m puzzled

I’m fairly sure it works with both air and vacuum brakes. You have to use the ejectors to release the vacuum brakes like on the Jubilee. I’ve never had a problem with it other than when I thought I had spawned with air braked coaches but I had actually spawned with vacuum braked stock. Once I realised and used the ejectors to release the brakes I was good to go.

They said that because the coaches that came with it, the ones they used in the showcase and all the included services on ECML, are air braked and using the ejectors would cause unwanted issues. The ejectors are only necessary for vacuum brakes to operate and the loco can be used with both types of coaches in game. In WCML over Shap the coaches used on the services are vacuum braked so that the same services can be played with either the Scotsman or the Jubilee, so ejectors are required to release the brakes. It’s always worth checking what’s written on the ends of the coaches to see what brakes they have.

Have a look at this video tutorial, this should help with the differences in braking and which coaches are for which brakes
