After playing the Peterbro-Doncaster. Leicester-Nottingham. The Fife Route. I have encountered issues where the fog just disappears, not gradually lifted, but bang its gone, which in honesty is rather off putting. As you first drive into the fog, it creeps up on you, but as I was driving across the fourth bridge, it just disappeared like it was never there. Am I the only one having this issue?. Are other platforms having the same as well as me?. DTG you made a big fuss about volumetric fog when TSW 4 was released, its good, but when its gone, there's no trace of it anywhere, are you going to fix this, is it a bug?. Answers on a £50 note posted to me. Thank You. Russ
This is the instant weather introduced in certain parts of the UK by the last Prime Minister. Totally accurate Other transitions in dynamic weather seem to work fine but this one has been an issue for a long time and reported many times. It’s not like you can’t notice it when it happens so DTG must be aware of how bad it is. I’m also on PS5 but I think it is all platforms that encounter this.
Core issue with dynamic weather that for some reason hasn't been fixed (I presume as this also happens on Xbox).
I've got these sudden changes on several routes. *POOF* .... and then there was no fog .......*POOF* ....... and then there was no snow ...... *POOF* ........... and then there was rain. Out of the blue sky, of course. The usual DTG fanfare when this "dynamic" weather feature was announced just resembles the fanfare from the SoS launch. Much ado about nothing, anyway nothing functional.
Yep same on Xbox too. Was watching dad rail stream last night and same happened while going over forth bridge and he’s on PC. I always tend to drive with custom weather setting rather than the Dynamic setting.
