Fonts In Livery Designer

I think it’d be nice to have more options for fonts because it becomes time consuming and sticker consuming making the letters we need

 

and something to type with because spelling individually takes up so much time.

 

Most definitely it’s painful especially when you can get the letters aligned

 

why didn't DTG think of that in the first place? seems so obvious

 

Yeah, we don't need a million fonts like on computers, but a set of basic common railway fonts, the ability to type them, and to bold and/or italicize them would be a huge improvement to the single letter step process currently in play.

 

like Rail Alphabet 1 and Gill Sans (the later used on LNER trains)

 

We don't need a million fonts, just a general bunch to cover it; serif, sans-serif, heavy, lite, condensed, black, square, rounded tips, rounded square etc. I think at the very least we need Helvetica.

 

Don't forget Cooper Black, used by ATSF and in H1 and H2 BNSF.
