I did a formation on HSC in South Fork Pa i spawned in free roam in the yard where the branch starts to windber mine , since it is non signaled territory you can freely operate as you please , I started with a SD70ace then spawned 20 cars of my choice on the yard tracks the cars consisted 1 or 2 of all varieties. Then i switched them coupled all together ran up the branch to the end at Windber mine then uncoupled my engine ran around train in siding coupled to the other end and drove long end forward back to the yard in South Fork and ended my run .
Why would you post this here when there is a whole forum dedicated to Formation Designer elsewhere on the site? I think you will find the mods will move this thread on Monday. I did start a thread of my own on here thurs ,its called formation designer. US content consoles , the moderators did move it over to formation design side . But this is a good thread for ideas even if it gets moved i will definitely post my ideas on here and any other s that get popular ,
today i tried a formation on sand patch grade , spawned 2 different creators club livrey GP38 2s used the UP gp38 2 s they work in free roam formation. Spawned 25 various freight cars at rockwood mine ,then lined a route to sand patch summit after stopping there i lined another route to Mance area completed the run there went smoothly no issues
Today i did a electric powered freight on NY Trenton route spawned in free roam 2 Amtrak ACS 64 s set the brake mode to freight formaton i made with freight cars was 10 auto racks and 50 reefers .. Lined a route from just south of Trenton depot to the tunnels in NYC made a top speed of 129 mph on the south part then before newark i slowed down since more curves slower speeds ..

It should for sure get more livery designer functionality at some point, for example allowing us to put only a single coach from our custom liveries into a formation, or being able to make liveries in livery designer with our formations
