Formation Designer

If I make my own formation for example the class 158 on mml with 4 cars can I substitute it in on the timetable and use it there. Thanks

 

For Scenario Planner, you can use your 4 car 158
In timetable mode, you can’t
But why do you need to make that formation? It is already part of the pre-made consists in free roam and scenario planner

 

Because I want to use them in the timetable because all you get are 2 units in timetable

 

Well, you cannot. It will always be 2 cars (I believe)

 

The timetable is set for two coach 158s, you can run four coach sets if you spawn them in but not as a timetable service.

 

So you cant just pick an existing timetable route and just swap the single engine formation for your made up dual and then run the timetable. Because it seems you can run any route at any time, but then you have to programe EVERY AI train going at the same time you want too to get traffic...... Thats ridiculous, IMO... Why have the ability to make up a config if you cant just run it in the normal timetable schedules?? That makes ZERO sense to me.
