Hi Matt (as this is probably one for you :)),

Now that we have Formation Designer the temptation is to make really long trains. (ie 20xTEAs or 18xSeacows etc). This is great and, presumably, works really well in Free Roam and with scenarios produced using the Public Editor. However it doesn't work very so well with the in-game Scenario Manager due to the link between formation length, route path starting points and route platform lengths. (Many platform lengths being very short).

Are paths and platform lengths (not so much the actual length of the physical platform but the amount of space allocated to formation spawning) baked into the game and are therefore unchangeable or can something be patched in to either add additional paths or tweak existing start/end points to existing routes?

With regards to GOBLIN then I guess there are plans to have long freights rumbling from one end to the other? Could you please double check that there is the ability to tee up the same in Scenario Manager on the route by having a number of points en-route from which long freights could be spawned? (I'm guessing that Ripple Lane gives you scope for this at the eastern end but am not sure about the Gospel Oak end of the route where I'm assuming that there might only be the one Portal?).

Could you insert something like a 400m long Way-Point that could be used to spawn trains from? (or an invisible platform?). Something like this would improve both playability and the variety of passing traction.

    Thanks David :)
