Hi I'm wondering what order search results on this forum are displayed in. For example, if I search for "LZB" the results are not in date order (they're Nov-May-Jul etc.), or alphabetical order, or indeed any order that I can easily discern. Anyone got any ideas what the order actually is, please?!
When you go to search for something specific there is a criteria at the bottom of that page, default seems to be revelance
Ah right, I hadn't spotted that. I wonder how the algorithm decides what's relevant and what isn't? Perhaps a combo of number of reponses, likes, etc.?
I would probably have to guess same or perhaps by if what u are searching has been previously searched or the title of the thread is the same as what u searched compared to the words searched being deep within a long thread from long ago I would have go with multiple search combinations as by best guess aswell
I believe the forum always displays by last comment date/time so although the post creation dates won't be in order the last comments should be
