Perhaps someone can help me solve this issue. I have seen it brought up before but never saw a solution... When I try to play guard mode on the Frankfurt-Fulda Route, I follow the instructions to inhibit the door I'm at until it's time to go. When it tells me to blow the whistle to signal the engineer to close the doors, the train instead starts taking off before the doors even close. I have seen YouTube videos where naturally the train is not supposed to leave until the doors are closed. This appears to be a very isolated problem as searching the internet and here have provided no solutions. If anyone has had this issue, how did you fix it, or does anyone have any other solutions or advice?
Happening everywhere apparently XB/PS/PC try blowing whistle while on the train and de-inhibit your door first.
I think I tried that before and the train still started rolling out but I will try again to make sure. I followed along with a YouTuber who did conductor mode and used the same timetable and train set but still same results. Only difference was his train had the more melodic door closing chimes that many German trains use and mine had more generic beeps. EDIT: Putting the door back to normal before being prompted to blow the whistle allowed me to continue. Although the train still rolls off before the doors close, I was able to carry on with guard duties. I guess another workaround that I didn't think about would be to disable the tutorial altogether. The only other weird thing that happened was when I got to the last station, it prompted me to close the doors, so I had to go to the cab to close them and finished the job.
