I found many Parts of the Map Frankfurt-Fulda that are hidden [i'm sure that i not the only one](i think certainly the most for ai) but i hope it will come as extension that we have more Tracks on the map or some s-bahn extension it would really nice & In general, an expansion would be worthwhile. Of course, the performance of the map leaves a little to be desired, but an expansion from Frankfurt to Mainz or from Frankfurt to Aschffenburg or from Frankfurt via Wiesbaden to Mainz, for example, or via the right stretch of the Rhine towards Koblenz/Cologne/Bonn would In my opinion it is very worthwhile as this would go very well with route hopping

there has been said before that that wasn't planned as an extension. I think that as there are actual signals instead of signal placeholders that the part along the port was planned but scrapped due to either time constraints or the amount of lag and frame loss frankfurt already causes for some players not running super new computers.

It's actually a shame that no expansion is coming. Of course, there aren't many players who have brand new hardware, but I'm one of them and with an RTX 2070 I'm just about at the recommended settings (although sometimes, depending on the map, I'm not even sure if Not one card higher is or would be recommended) and I think it hardly makes a difference because if you don't have an RTX 3090 or 4090 you can forget about the game either way if it comes to it and besides, why else would you have the free roam of over 60? 70 FPS at least on the map but that's not just what it's about, it would be cool even if there was a standalone map for Frankfurt HBF since Frankfurt is the hub and from there you can go to all of Germany, sometimes across Europe (I would like it less, but would be an idea) but in any case more than an opportunity to route hop and more to the other maps or you never know an expansion and one thing makes little sense to me why do you put so many signals (not all of which are actually needed) on them Map if there really wasn't any expansion planned, it's a mystery to me because there are so many signals that eat up the most performance. From my point of view, all the buildings and tracks are not the problem, but the many signals that are in the middle of nowhere and have permanent updates and despite this whole problem I still think an expansion would be cool because even if the performance for it isn't that great now, it will be better in the future with new graphics cards, although sometimes I'm not sure about that, but definitely it would work IF DTG managed to optimize the game better, for example DLSS & FSR and other better graphics optimizations and expand settings such as anti-analyzing etc

Best chance we have of seeing some of it is if modders make an enhancement pack for the route, otherwise I don't see it being used.

Yeah there's I think a lot to be improved for everyone and a lot of possibilities both not done and recently added by DTG. everything takes time and money so in the end we can't have everything immediately. For example RLLSO's connection pack adding the entirety from München to Vienna in train sim classic. The way tiles load and unload I'd say it's possible for TSW as well. although TSW's timetable idea makes it a whole lot more time consuming and difficult to create. including problems like the year the route is set and TOD versions for different routes.

I personally run a 3080 and a R7 5800X with 32 gigs of ram off an M.2 SSD. apart from optimisation I run into barely any frame loss and can play Frankfurt - Fulda on max settings and an ultrawide between the max 100fps to 50+ in frankfurt. the stutters do exist some times. With the recent choices in layer selection and not having certain layers for lower end consoles I think the routes can be made busier and more can be added. whilst people themselves can pick if they want more trains or more performance. DTG caters for a wide collection of players. from older consoles to the newest of pc's and that always will leave a performance gap. the diverse world of trains also makes not every route for everyone. and thus barely anyone will enjoy and want to buy everything that get's released.

I'd love to have the tile system persist and with a good savegame function have routes as big as the entirety of The Netherlands as in TSC or even if stuff loads and unloads go anywhere through europe. no more routes, just extensions like Eurotruck does. I personally don't like how Free roam and Route hopping has become the band aid on the gun shot wound request list of longer and connected routes and timetable upgrades like adding services missed in the past. But I understand there's no way we will see something as big as I said in the beginnning of this block in five years or more.

As I heard matt say often enough. he'd love to have all routes in all era's with all the trains. and that is something I agree with as well. All we as players can do is announce what we'd love to see first on the way to get to that point. and hope the broken DLC and issues get fixes more often so they aren't that common anymore. I personally have stopped playing for a month or two now because I am waiting out all the coming updates and bug fixes as I have other priorities than figure out what trip I'd enjoy whilst knowing there is sound missing/wrong, rain not showing up on the window or trains straight up not working or badly substituted (hi BR 218 everywhere for no reason)

I think there's a lot of interesting stuff coming in TSW5 even though I still treat it like an early acces game. I would love to indeed see some optimisation soon as I don't think I should have to upgrade to a 50 series GPU or the latest PC parts to have a playable game. However much hate I see on the forums though. I'm glad some devs (mostly Skyhook, TSG and DTG) are always there to comment on their stuff when it gets mentioned. even I struggle to go through the forum and rarely look further than my notifs
