Hello, I don't know if I'm the only one but when I want to play the RE55 to Frankfurt Hbf as a timetable scenario and am just before Frankfurt Hbf my game crashes every time but somehow only with the BR114, I don't know if it's the same with the 146, I haven't tried it yet but it's starting to get on my nerves.
I just got this before rolling round the corner into Frankfurt on an ICE-T service from Fulda, the train(s) texture unrendering/blurring caused this I believe but I still crashed and lost all progress of that service. What makes it more annoying is that I play on Series X that should be able to handle it.
That was not for you, it was for the 3 people I quoted. Your post was very clear: you experience crashes on the 114 approaching to Frankfurt. Only thing you could add is whether you play on a Series S or Series X. I've been playing most of the Journey Mode, but I've skipped the 114 chapter, as the brakes weren't working. I heard they work in timetable mode, but in Journey Mode they don't, making it very hard to complete scenario/services. I just finished the 146 chapter, no crashes. But the performance is atrocious around Frankfurt. I've also seen a few issues, but no crashes. - When LZB zone ends at Gelnhausen, the loco shows the yellow "stay under 85kph" warning, and it remains there all the way to Fulda. There's no 1000Hz magnet to cause it, and PZB does not brake the train. It's only on the loco dash. - LZB seems to be crazy: it keeps slowing down and speeding up the train, for no apparent reason. - Even if I choose not to use AFB at all, remaining above the LZB speed limit triggers scoring penalty ("driving over the speed limit"). No brakes, just AP scoring.
Nobody said that. I just found it very strange that 3 people would run a Class 66 on the German route. I don't think it's a common occurrence. But sure, crashes while driving to Frankfurt seem to be a common enough thing, regardless of the loco driven.
I don't think the other two you quoted were using class 66s, it,s just that the game crashes in a similar fashion
I play on the series s when i'm playing this route, and I do seem to have the crashes which is annoying. I think the Frankfurt fulda and WCML haven't been optimized. I hope this gets sorted as it is fustraiting to my console. I love Frankfurt Fulda and WCML, but these bugs are the areas which drop the optimism. Hope DTG have a fix for all platforms
Ive started saving the game right before i think its going to crash then if it does crash i just load it back up, ive found it doesn't crash after reloading the save. Only issue is that you’re then open to the weather bug which isnt ideal if you’re playing in adverse weather conditions
There is an update that has just been released for both WCML and Frankfurt to Fulda, hopefully this will resolve the issues.
