Is there anything I can do to stop game crashes this happens almost all the time less then a mile from frankfurt I'm on xbox series x tsw is the only game on xbox and I only have dozen or so routes installed at the moment crashes are really frustrating now. Any advice would be good thanks
Disabling layers, turning off dynamic weather. Also remove any creators club liveries. Basically revert the game to train sim world 2 which isn't a great fix. I suppose, and this is on ps5 so I'm not sure if it will apply to you, one thing I've found may have helped was the installer would download maps 3 or 4 times for each version of train sim in the same tsw5 file, this seemed to cause extra long loading so I went through and deleted everything that was repeated, and through trial and error ensured that the only ones installed were for tsw5 (some are for tsw5 but still listed as tsw4, then have a tsw4 version only for tsw4 which were a ball ache to seperate.) this resulted in fewer crashes and faster loading since the main file wasn't chock full of duplicates. Again, may not apply to you on xbox, but it's worth having a look through your installs to see what's there. If you want to take the layer disabling route, I'd recommend taking off manifest 1 and 4.
