Free French Content For Train Sim World! (ps4/5 Users Please Read)

As many of you will know, Focus Entertainment are a Paris-based developer and shortly after the initial announcement, we announced plans to celebrate by making Train Sim World’s first French route Add-on, LGV Méditerranée: Marseille – Avignon, free for a limited period.

You will be able to download Train Sim World: LGV Méditerranée: Marseille – Avignon route Add-on completely free (oui, c’est gratuit!) from today, May 26th 2023 at 17:00 UTC until 2nd June 2023!

This will be available on all platforms and players taking advantage of this celebration will have the route permanently added to their collection.



Enjoy high-speed runs through the south of France at up to 320 km/h with the TGV Duplex, taking in both historic and modern railway stations and the sun-soaked scenery of the Mediterranean.




French Starter Pack & Reduced Bundles
If you’re new to Train Sim World 3, then now could be the best time to upgrade with the French Starter Pack – available exclusively on the Steam Store at the current price during this celebration. This will not only allow you to play LGV Méditerranée: Marseille – Avignon, but also make use of Train Sim World 3’s Training Center and all the upgrades and features to weather and lighting seen in Train Sim World 3’s route Add-ons.



Prices of other Steam exclusive bundles that feature LGV Méditerranée such as the High Speed and Under the Wires Bundles will also reduce during this period.

Redeeming Free French Routes on TSW 3
Steam

1. Visit: https://store.steampowered.com/app/...__Avignon_Route_AddOn__TSW2__TSW3_compatible/
2. Click on Download (or Add to Library if you wish to download later)
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the add-on.
4. Wait for the download to complete before starting the game.

PlayStation

1. Open the PlayStation Store
2. Search for “LGV”
3. Select “Train Sim World®: LGV Méditerranée: Marseille - Avignon TSW2 & TSW3 Compatible”
4. Select Download
5. Wait for the download to complete before starting the game.

Xbox

1. Open the Store
2. Search for “LGV”
3. Select “Train Sim World® 2: LGV Méditerranée: Marseille - Avignon (Train Sim World® 3 Compatible)” with the Train Sim World Compatible logo.
4. Select Get
5. Wait for the download to complete before starting the game.

We've become aware of an issue causing players on the Microsoft Store / Xbox App for PC and TSW2 players on PlayStation to be unable to install the LGV Méditerranée: Marseille - Avignon Add-on during this free offer window.

On both platforms, you are still able to claim content to be permanently added to your collections, so this means you can still get the full benefit of this limited-time offer, but you may find difficulty when installing the Add-ons at this time.

Currently, we have found a workaround for Xbox App on PC users.

Xbox App Installation Steps:

1. Open the Microsoft Store App.
2. Go to Library.
3. Set the filters Games & Show installed products only.
4. Click on Train Sim World 3 in the list.
5. Scroll down to "Top add-ons".
6. Click on "Train Sim World 2: LGV..."
7. Then, click on Install.

PlayStation Update
We are working with Sony on a solution for PlayStation users who cannot get the content installed on TSW2 and we will share more news when we have it.

Good morning folks!

We'd like to ask those of you that are experiencing issues claiming the free French DLC for TSW2 on either PS4 or PS5 to please create a support ticket on our support page here.

Please contact our Support Team before the end of the promotional window (18:00 BST, Friday 2nd June), detailing:

  • Platform you're playing on (PS4 or PS5)
  • Where in the world you're based (i.e.: US, Europe, etc.)
  • (if possible) digital/physical receipt for your TSW2 purchase
