hi everyone, I like to know what trains are able to drive on the London Overground route in free roam mode. Apart from the diesels off course, can every electric UK train drive on this route? If not which ones can't Thanks in advance!
I think the Class 395 Javelin may not work, but any other British electric train fitted with a pantograph should work. The Class 377 does not have pantographs The 1972 stock does not have pantographs The Class 375 does not have pantographs The Class 465 does not have pantographs so they won't be able to run. The Class 323 does have a pantograph The Class 801 does have a pantograph The Class 385 does have a pantograph The Class 314 does have a pantograph so they should be able to run.
Thanks this would make sense. Although not all trains with pantographs will work probably. How about trains from Scotland for example
I should imagine Scotrail trains will work. England, Scotland, and Wales all use the same overhead line equipment (OHLE). The only example I can think of that won't is the Class 395 Javelin because that pantograph is set up for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) and not the Great Britain's OHLE. I don't have any Scotrail route or the Suffragette Line, and I don't use free roam - so if there are any bugs, I won't be able to find them for you.
