Xbox Series X Freight Train Automatic Vs Independent Brake Bug

I've been noticing that on some of the routes the buttons (on xbox controller) that usually control the automatic brake randomly start controlling the independent brake instead. Sometimes it randomly gets reassigned back to the automatic brake, so you really can't rely on the controller to control the brakes.

I tried dealing with it by attaching a keyboard to the xbox so I can use the keyboard shortcuts, but found out that while ; does work for Auto break decrease, ' DOES NOT work for Auto break increase. (so there is no way to increase automatic brake using a keyboard on the xbox)


ps... I just found a workaround..... pressing x changes which brakes are controlled by the xbox controller, so that'll work.
