Hello together, what about a loco addon with the SNCF BB 7200 for LGV Mediterranee? Or maybe for another french route coming in the future? https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SNCF_BB_7200 I love that loco and I think it would upgrade the french route with actually only TGV Duplex available. And I think the loco is a real french intercity classic... What do you think?
I think it would be best on a different French route in the future, because it doesn't really run very far on LGV Mediteranée. That being said, I'd love to see it and it's Dutch counterpart, the NS 1600/1700/1800 even more (I have made a suggestion that includes the NS 1600 and 1700). I'm really hoping for a French route that would fit this loco quite nicely.
Good idea but you're looking at its 25kv 1.5kv DC version the BB22200 because during the night time you can send up freight on LGV Avignon-Marsellie towards another route preferably Avignon Montpelier-Perpignan-Barcelona. Where the BB22200 gets detached from the Freight train at Perpignan for a Renfe 252 1.435m track gauge to Barcelona on dual gauge tracks 1.66m & 1.435m. In timetable you should have two services of BB22200 freight up the LGV then after Avignon off map max speed for these ar 200 km/h (125 mph) rule of thumb for the conversion is for each 40 km/h increase it's for every 25 mph
