Tried in several places on the MML and I can't fill up with fuel they are broken. Has an core update kiiled them.?
Which part of MML? I'll try one on Leicester-Derby-Nottingham and report back. Edit: Just checked, refuelling at Derby is working well. All fueled up and ready to go...
A few general points, don't have the route so unable to check the specifics: Does the loco actually need fuel. If the tank is already full, nothing will happen. Correct fuel type for the loco. Maybe obvious, but you can only fill a diesel at a diesel fuel point, steam loco coal at a coal point and steam loco water at a water point. The fuel point has been placed the right way round in relation to the track. As in Spikee's screenshots above, the hose should be on the same side of the pump as the loco to be fueled. There is both a transfer point marker and a track marker. As in the above screenshot, it will be something like Diesel Fuel Point @ Derby Stabling Siding 2. If there's no track marker, again nothing will happen.
Toton yard fuel road 1 and Earls sidings my loco will not refuel? Even tried a kuju 47 still no joy? And yes I've set the fuel level on the loco to 10% and set the correct instructions. I've reinstalled the routes too just to make sure all the necessaries were there.
Will try Toton yard. Can confirm Toton Fuel Road 1 is not working. I also noticed this valve handle floating I have checked on Railworks v72 - the bug is there also. It seems that one has never been working. The Toton fuel stand asset itself is borked. Derby uses a different one, so that works. Even JustTrains can make mistakes - nothing to do with any core update.
Toton's electric bill must be huge, perhaps they've been cut off for non-payment. That'd stop the pumps.
Good. From what I'm seeing is that the actual "hot spot" is too close to the rails (as some child objects are misplaced).
According to Spike Peter, it works on a 158. I've swapped the VP skinned 57 for a 59 going to see if that fails?
What I do see is that the Toton Fuel Point is a normal scenery "Buildings" asset, whereas Derby uses the Kuju "RailNetwork\TransferPoints" type Diesel stand - a different (and correct) type of blueprint Maybe JT stacked assets upon another which causes the issue. I will lift the Toton fuel stand (that shows no track link) and see what's beneath. That's interesting. The Fuel Stand you see is just a facade. The real fuel stand the game is using and that is linked to the tracks is.... beneath!!! The Kuju Diesel TransferPoint though I'm not sure why it's not working, only the link matters to the game... or doesn't it? I will rotate and arrange the "real" fuel points and see if it makes a difference. I notice just moving them (not the links) updates the tracks.bin - maybe that is already enough and repairs it. [SOLVED] This did the trick for me, just moving the underneath fuel points a little. My 47 visible in the shot did refuel by pressing T now at Toton. Do this for all broken stations - look beneath and just rotate or drag the fuelpoints a little, this will fix the tracks.bin so refuelling works. Make a backup. Remember - it's all an illusion - the game only sees collision boxes and tracks.bin!
I'm not sure why, but the rotation also seem to matter with these assets, in the same way it does with platform lofts.
I could only rotate them or move them along the Y (up down) axis. X and Z (horizontal plane) was locked. I think the 90° rotation did hide the "hotspot".
Thanks, fellas, The DTG 59 fuels up at Derby so it is the VP 57 Porterbrook reskin that is borked in some way? Maybe JT will issue an update to the route.
Had a reply from JT saying it is a known issue and they couldn't find a solution so no fix! I did point out that a solution had been found here on these forums and asked if they could fix these issues, especially for those who are not comfortable grubbing around in the editor, we will have to wait and see.
