Is there a way of finding out exactly what rolling stock I have in my collection? Is it something TS Tools can do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes it is :)
Open TS Tools then Click Edit Assets/Content > Asset Editor and you get this screen
    Build List of Assets.jpg
Make sure the Assets Folder is Highlighted
Make sure Rolling Stock Only is Ticked - otherwise it will find every item.
Make sure Exclude PreLoad is ticked
Then click Add to List - it might take 10 mins or so to do depending on the size of your folder

When finished you will be able to save as a CSV or Excel file
And you can then adjust the data to sort it how you like

I tried to make list, followed the instructions but only some of my DLC:s is in the list. Is there any thing I should have done before this stage? I have run the extract Route/Scenarioproperties.xml but not much more i TS-Tools.

The issue as I see it for getting a complete list is that a lot of stuff is now stored in .ap files that TS Tools doesn't appear to read.

    Of course, I'm probably wrong.

Anything you purchased thru Steam will not appear until you extract the *.ap file first

In TS Tools > Files > Find all *ap files
When the next box appears Highlight all the lines then you have the option to just
Extract Rolling Stock from *.ap files
    or
Unpack selected files with 7Zip - This will also extract your Scenarios so you can edit them in TS Tools

You have to Untick "Include Preload" other wise you get the same item many times
