Sand Patch is one of my favorite routes on TSW. However, it has become somewhat become outdated compared to routes like Cajon Pass. I think it needs a remake. But this time its the whole thing not just ending in Rockwood. The route I want to be made should go the full 100 miles(160 KM) from Cumberland yard to Connellsville yard. In addition to the existing rolling stock, I have some brand new ones. CSX ES44AC C40-8 Narrow cab Dash 9 Not to mention more variety in freight cars. Loco DLC P42DC for passenger services.
nice idea, BUT, no License to do anything as I understand, as per Matt P. They won't let us play with their toys, jokingly stated.
Yes that they could, but as much as we would like more and updated NA/US Freight, and only one CA freight route, but who knows, there is something to do with Santa Fe on the roadmap, so just maybe a new route, or re-master?
I would want the CSX ET44AH, ES44AH (including WM, B&O, and Chessie Heritage Units, and the others too), SD40-3, GP40-2/-3, GP38-3, SD23T4, C60AC, ST70AH, and/or SD70AC (including the Operation Lifesaver Units). We also need CSX's Business Train and F40PHs (including the B&O Unit). As for Amtrak, I'd love to see the P42DC and ALC-42 Charger. Chessie or B&O power for Sand Patch could be cool. We have the ATSF F7s for Cajon, so it would be awesome to see some locos like GP30s, GP35s, SD7s/SD9s, GP9s, SD40s, SD45s, Baldwin Sharknose RF-16s, and even B&O steam power with EM-1 Yellowstones and 2-10-2 "Big Sixes." Also, could we get a WM Scenic RR extension out of Cumberland? It would be cool to see WM #1309 and maybe the line's GP30 #501 and their trio of B32-8s.
