Game Crash

Has anyone experienced a crash in spirit of steam I was starting the scenario where you have to rescue a failed loco and the game force closes on me as I was leaving the yard in the stanier 8F I play on Xbox series s

 

I have not played scenarios yet but I can confirm that services cause crashes on 8th gen Xbox one's.

 

I havent experienced any crashes yet, although I'm on ps5

 

I’ve had one coming out of lime street and ended up stuck at an endless red during the rescue scenario. On Xbox series x and tech reports raised for both.

 

I had a crash on a Liverpool to Crewe as I arrived in the Crewe area

 

Series S:
Similar to Navkedhr Dresden within the built-up areas, the display mode needs to be manually changed from 4k to HD in areas of high mesh complexity.
Leaving Liverpool Lime Street seems 100% chance of CTD in 4k mode.
Annoying also is requirement to have auto-fireman who makes the boiler pressure-relief safety valve run within 30 seconds of coasting until you next move off.

 

Hello JD, I have every addon except the following:
ROUTE - S-Bhan zentralschweiz: Luzen - Tharandter Rampe: Dresden - Chemnitz - LGV - Marseille to Avignon -
LOCO - DB BR 187.

I have also observed that I can not even use service mode on spirit of steam at all at first on release day (May 31st) I could do a couple of services but now I can not use any service. For reference, I am using an Xbox one 8th gen. I have been playing around with it in livery designer and scenario planner and everything works fine. I have been amazed by what I have played and I'm sure I'm not the first to say something like this but spirit of steam has made all my childhood dreams come true.

 

Is there an optimal number of add-ons for Xbox?

 

Yea, just uninstall what you don’t use.

 

Yeah on the Bovine scenario game crashes just outside Crewe very disappointing

 

I just did. That was tough. Was harder than choosing between my children lol

 

Just crashed on the worst winter of all scenario just got to crewe yard just before the 10 mph speed drop

 

So your saying we need to uninstall the routes and then renistall the routes to play them properly. Well I've got all of them inculding the loco DLCs expect the Arosa line anniversary livery

 

Another crash to desktop (no error messages) - 0716 (think that was the service ) Liverpool to Crewe - Jubilee crashed about 500yds from finishing at Crewe. Xbox series X with pretty much all DLCs except 2 or 3 installed
