Whenever I launch the game, The menu loads fine but when I go to launch any scenario it black screens then crashes and the attached error message occurs. This happens across the 32 Bit, 64 Bit and DXT Unstable Branch versions of the game. I have cleared the games cache and validated the file integrity yet the issue continues across all scenarios, career and academy etc. Anyone know of a fix?
Assuming everything should be fine... Some people reported that the game would use the integrated GPU for reasons (power saving, D9 choice, anything). Google for "train simulator use dedicated gpu" and check whether that's your underlying problem. (Can't post links reliably due to recent spammers.)
Delete RailWorks\Content\PlayerProfiles.bin (this will have you start with the default settings). This file will stay even when uninstalling TSC, so make a test run with clean settings.
This is now also happening to me unfortunately. Not on all scenarios, however it happens all the time for Niklas' Southeastern Network workshop route.
Have you created any Scenarios for the Southeastern Route? Quick Drives can crash if there is a problem with the AI services not loading correctly
