Regardless of the route i play or scenario, suddenly when I switch to interior view and attempt to turn on the cab light or gauge lights the game freezes and is no longer playable.
Regardless? Then there may be some deeper issues. Things don't just stop working without a reason. Have you tried validating the files as a first step? Have you updated something on your system? I faintly recall having read something like this ages ago but cannot remember what the solution was as I wasn't affected. Are you playing in Fullscreen? Try Borderless Windowed Fullscreen and see if it makes a change. Clear the cache. Is RailWorks64.exe assigned to your GPU in Windows Display Settings?
