Hi I have been driving the class 350 on wcml in train sim world 5 on Xbox series S I tried to drive 2B08 Bletchley to London Euston 3 times and each time I get about 2-3 miles from Euston and game crashes and get put back to Xbox Home Screen. It has also happened when trying to drive the class 710 as well.
It’s happened to me too. Every time I get near Euston. On one Lioness run, I saved 800 yards from the platform and then when I reloaded, it let me run into Euston but crashed while I was walking to switch ends.
PS4 is most likely to crash regardless due to memory and power limitations, being a 8th Gen console but Matt did say that WCML was quite free of memory on the XSX hence it should not be crashing.
Same here on XSX. Just did a run from MKC to LE in the 390 and as soon as I was about to stop my train in Euston, the game just turns off. Not the only time it has happened as well but it makes the route get boring very quick, knowing you’ll probably crash before you even complete the run. I really hope DTG have seen the feedback and are doing something because Matt did say that there was a lot of free memory on the Series s, meaning it should not be crashing. Seen other people report the same issue.
Same for me on PS4 in scenario "Pend - No - Lean - No" every time i have to go to other cab at platform 12 London Euston and disable tilting before heading to Milton Keynes
Yep Same with me. The only time it actually lets me in is when it's early or late at night where they is barely any services. I run on Xbox 1 but I'm upgrading soon..
DTG Alex the crash issue are affecting both PS4 and XBOX platforms, my ticket is 71520. Hopefully we have a fix update soon
Yeah I'm in the same position nearly every time I get near the end of the route on WCML south now it just crashes. It's a waste of 30 mins game play. Not just on the pendelino, but also London overground train.
No, it was just fixes to issues relating to scenery and added features such as sparks on the 1972 stock
I have found that saving regularly especially 2 miles out from Euston around Watford and if going to Milton Keynes after Bletchley it stops it crashing and can complete the journey
Gutted I pre ordered had early access but still couldn't enjoy it as the wcml crashes, yes I could save but should I really have too, also I've noticed that my 710 runs that I completed are not showing up on the time table.
Yes apparently Discord mentioned a large update is coming this week. This was kindly passed on to me. Probably know more 7pm UK time, with the road map tomorrow.
