How come the game is dark? I've had a service set in October at around 16:00, partly cloudy and it looks like I'm driving in night time but its not. I see the sun shining on other objects like tress and other passing trains and also station platform lights are not on so the game does not feel realistic. I can't find anywhere on my tv or in the game to adjust brightness, is it just how it is on console? this problem may not be for all routes but some German routes are like this.

Any explanation for this or am i just going mad!

Yeah the time in this game is pretty warped, I feel asif it’s an hour ahead of what it should be, October in the UK does typically start getting dark around 5/6pm, but not nighttime darkness.

Oddly I just drove a late afternoon October service on Northern Trans Pennine heading west into Manchester and had the same thoughts. This was driven west towards a low sun, and I literally couldn’t see! Closing the blind in the room helped a touch, but boy was it dark for 4pm!
