PC Game Not Responding To Keyboard Anymore

I think this happens since Sherman Hill is released. Sometimes, I see a loading screen during a very brief period, sometimes not even noticeable. Afterwards the game no longer listens to the keyboard. If you press a mouse key, the issue disappears. It is very annoying, especially with safety functions that require to respond within a certain time.
