So I load up Train Simulator in 64-bit mode. It tries to install scenarios, gives me an error with one saying try in 64-bit mode because the graphics quality is too good (or something like that), and quits the program. I try again, it starts to unpack scenarios, and for some reason the game is closed again. Then I run it a third time, I try to let scenario install properly finish, then eventually a screen comes up saying "Installing Workshop scenarios" that I can't clear. I try to Alt-TAB out, but no dice. Next, I tried loading the Task Manager. Could not switch to it. Or any other open window. Nothing would come up over my Train Simulator menu screen that I was not able to do anything on even though I had tried to exit the game and the Alt-TAB showed that the game was NOT open. I was even still getting the menu screen's sound effects. Is this something that has happened to anyone else? Is this therefore a known bug? Is there something I can do to prevent this? My only option was to smack the power button with a sledgehammer and force my poor computer to rebuild its cache due to not shutting down correctly, and I had some other things open that I am sure needed to be saved and are now lost, but I could not get back to them to save them. BTW, I am on Windows 10.
