Hey Anglers, Update 2 is here and is available to download on all platforms. Take a look below to see all the details of what we have improved in Update 2. We are already working on Update 3 and we’ll keep you posted on when that will be and what it will included as soon as we can. All the fixes below affect all platforms unless specified otherwise. Headlines Fish – Blue Catfish are now catchable Fish - Players can no longer catch the same fish once it’s been caught Fishing - Reeling speeds have been rebalanced Tutorial – New players will be presented with a choice to play the Tutorial or not and will be informed they can quit the Tutorial from the settings and play it again via Anglers Hub Tutorial – You can now skip through sections of the Voice Over in the Tutorial Gameplay – A Starting Point icon has been added to the map to help players see where they started from and where to get back to Career - Career mode events will now always end when the timer hits 0:00 automatically Bassmaster Royale – More information has been added to give players information about how many players are in the pre-game lobby and when the next match will start Multiplayer [Xbox & Win10] - Online multiplayer servers will no longer disappear after 1 hour of gameplay Loadouts - Rods will no longer revert to rod 1 after driving your boat Loadouts – Players can now create over 8 rods without it defaulting to the wrong Loadout in game Audio – Players will no longer lose audio when a Waypoint has been placed Multiplayer - In an effort to prevent “griefing” when playing online, if a player parks their boat inside another players boat this will no longer prevent the player from being able to stand up or cast General Deluxe – All Deluxe Edition lures are now available to Deluxe Edition owners in game Career [Xbox] – First Career event on Toledo Bend no langer causes the game to crash for some players Gameplay – If a player skips the tutorial the game will no longer default to Total Cast Control Gameplay – Placed Waypoints on venues are now more accurately placed Fishing – Some Lures are now positioned correctly on the end of the line when viewed by the underwater camera Catch Shots – Female anglers now hold Flathead Catfish correctly Catch Shots – Catch Shot animations should now all appear as intended Catch Summary – At the end of events Bass Bucks earned are now displayed correctly Lures - Shockwave Bombshell & Fisholicious are no longer blown up in the catch shots UI – Stats for Smallmouth Bass are now shown in the Species List for Lake Guntersville UI - Accurate time of day will now display in the UI on the top left while in game UI – The player icon on the map has been changed from Red to Yellow UI – The Catch Summary screen will now show the location of your catches on the map UI – When a player selects the Time of Day it will now take affect first time Loadout - Deleting a rod from a load out will no longer prevent a player from loading into a game Loadout - Images for the Pulsator Spinnerbait are now the correct way up Loadout - Adjustments to the 10lb Braided line to prevent it from breaking more than the 7lb line Settings [Steam & Win10] - Changes to key binds will now take affect Characters – Fixed texture stretching on the neck of some characters Customization - T-shirts will no longer clip through shorts Customization - Players are now able to equip new boat wraps and will not be prompted to re-purchase an already purchased boat wrap Customization – Improvements made to the ponytail hairstyle Menus - Smallmouth Bass now appear in the species list for Lake Guntersville Mastery [Xbox] - Players can now scroll between venues when viewing Mastery Challenges Languages [Steam] – Latin American Spanish has been added as a language DTL – Players who have been unable to log into their Dovetail Live Accounts should now be able to Player Stats – Counter for Bass caught in the Players Profile in Anglers Hub is now working correctly Audio – Short musical stingers have been added before Dave Mercer comments on your catch There are also various other fixes and changes behind the scenes not listed above. well done but please fix the jigs. 1. Jigs are not soft plastics they are jigs 2. a jig already has a jig head you shouldnt have to add a hook. they should be under the no weight category. 4. Jigs require a soft plastic trailer, example: christie craw, a paddle tail swimbait, among others. One last thing down the road we need the game to include bladed jigs. if you look at every single bass tourney from 2021 season in either B.A.S.S tournaments or local amateur tournaments there is a tie for the most productive baits. those are a squarebill crank bait and some form of jig albeit a swim, football, pitching, or flipping jig. with the bladed jig a close 2nd so if ya gonna have a bassmaster game ya need to do one of the best baits in all of bass fishing some justice. Im not trying to complain I love the game I love the all the updates so far. I also am very passionate bout fishing and especially fishing with a jig there is one tied on for me in real life AT ALL TIMES!!!! they just flat catch em. the latest update was a giant fix for me as far as glitches go. They also repositioned bass on st johns and seemed to make it easier to catch fish there somehow. I've been struggling with that lake and last night caught 67lbs. Good job on the update. Still some things to get corrected but good job with this one!
Whoa wth please tell me I crazy or I'm smoking meth cause I'm I really reading and seeing the update to multiplier online accepting basically a cheat a bad sportsmanship a lazy bum that sucks n makes you work n comes in to reap my fruits REALLY??? do you know why some of us chase or park boat on purpose in front of some1? Imagine in battle Royale most of the time pretty hard so consistently find fish which on avg of like 8 ppl in game its always just 3 ppl with 30 to 50 pound catches n more n more you start seeing a bum that sucks let's be honest not all or good nor good at all in games its life, real life not everyone wins a trophy so here I am busting ass in the lake n finally 30mins in 10mins left I find sweetspot and the bum who sits there on map whole time waiting for that catch he can see name and 13lb catch like a crackhead finally see his boat move n non dummy that pays attention like me is I bet he comes looking for me and what do I see Mr Bum no shame literally park right next to me or in front basically saying F U and take your fish in 5mins going from 0 lbs to winner and your ok with that? That's why we block them and make them move somewhere else screw that I'll be damn as a man ima let you do that and happens more often so now you give the option he can by let him stand and cast really? Wow well let's use your logic, next Monday when you start your job in real life if you have one , we'll let's go to mine instead cyz I'm a man, welding at case new holland making 27hr bringing home anywhere 1200 to 1500 weekly full leather on with airhood on no ac in shop sweating all 10 to 12 hr shift 6 days a week and let you come in on payday for 5mins and take 1000 dollars from n leave lol I wish u would. I wish when I'm at the lake you come park your boat right next to mind and not say a word and start casting in my space omg I wish you, but you wouldn't cause we all know what a real man would do and it's not what they video game here would do. I'm done venting and looking forward to more awesome lil socialist updates and start seeing your community vanish lil by lil and I bet you wouldn't even realize or think holy sheet we making bad decisions and agreeing with the lazy bum that's driving my game down, trust me 2k and fifa lives like that and starting to pay for it also, yea they still get money but lil by lil they are starting to feel the pain. You can fool some of the ppl some of the time but you can't fool all the ppl all the time
What Ive noticed today for future updates. Online mode fish bite different also they are invisible most of the time when they bite. can you make the bait on a Carolina rig and dropshot more buoyant? sponsored bait say they are free but it still charges me $1350 or whatever it is. delete Crappie . I can’t keep them off my bait.
Please Ben, make dovetail team work and fix the way lures work underwater and over, like walking the dog and poppers, we should be able to make those lures move more realistic with the rods. It is such a cool game, but it really needs this to be fixed. Thans Ben
