Who else has driven on the Glasgow Airport Rail Link?

I seem to notice the track is missing an awful lot of speed limit signs, and often the sign appears 50-100 metres further along than the position on the HUD.

I had been trying to drive without replying on the HUD, and quickly found issues with speeding, when there was no sign at the trackside indicating a lowering of the limit.

It was a few years back when I last ran it and I just got it for some of the assets

You could always add or move the speed signs.
An easy job in the Editor - once you have done it a few times
Have a look at this video - the interesting bit is after 1 min in

There are one or two similar issues on the MML Bedpan line (although it is more the incorrect speed sign showing 110 instead of 100 iirc). I just changed it in the route editor as I drive it HUDless too. Ironically I had already got used to the incorrect signage before I swapped it :D

I know there is one just before the first tunnel on the Up Fast after you leave Bedford
Went past at 110 only to be told I was speeding :o
A quick delete and replace sorted that problem :)

Which is generally correct: what’s on the HUD or what’s at the trackside?

The HUD gets it's information from the track and displays the speed and that is the most accurate
When a trackside Speed board is placed that appears in the HUD to tell you of an upcoming speed change
But if the trackside board is in the wrong place it gives wrong info to the HUD

If there is No trackside board there is nothing to show the change in the HUD until it happens
