Xbox Series X Gcc Service 2n11. Cant Finish Service, Am Stuck At Signal Gg5531

Service 2n11 from neilston to glasgow central leaving at 7.39am. Cant finish it.

Get through service, no issues, till get to just outside central at signal GG5531, waiting to get into platform 7 which has a 2 carriage 158 in it. Also stuck at a red. Service. Cant be finished. Got to signal at 8.11am, waited till 8.22 nothing

 

Have you resumed a save game or is it a straight play through?

If not in Journey mode, have you tried going into the 2D map and deleting the errant train?

 

Nope. Took it from the timetable/service list.

 

In that case try going into the 2D map view and try to delete the stand-off train.

 

I dont know what that means

 

Use whatever the XBox controller function is to access the top down/2D map (I’m on PC so it’s the 9 key). You then hover your cursor over the errant train and click the equivalent of Enter, should bring up a dialogue prompting if you want to delete. Someone more versed in XBox procedure can hopefully elaborate, if you can’t figure it out.

 

Shouldnt have to delete a train from the timetable just to do a service.

 

Update on this issue. The only thing to do, Leave ur train at the signal, go up to the 158 stuck at red and delete it.Run back to the train, which now gets you late to platform 7. Unreal DTG Alex shouldnt need to do this. Only 1 i have found on new cathcart, so far.

 

You are quite right, you shouldn’t have to, but unfortunately becomes necessary sometimes. Glad you got it sorted and yes, you can also delete by alighting and physically walking to the errant train, if it’s not too far away!

 

Am on xbox. So only way i could do it was to get off train and run to it.
