I suggest that the Geelong line in Victoria, Australia, should be a new route for TSW. There are a number of reasons for this: I believe that this route would make a good first route for TSW in Australia. It's one of the country's most used and most popular line. The line features two variations of rollingstock, the Vlocity DMU and loco-hauled services (N-Class locomotives + coaching stock). Along the route there is interesting scenery, including large yards in Melbourne, and farmland and industry towards Geelong. The route would do well in the game because of its frequent services and mix of express and stopping services. Similair to the UK, trains in Victoria use the TPWS safety system. In future if the route was added, there would be a possibility to have another DLC for the rest of the line to Warrnambool. ROLLINGSTOCK: Two types of trains are used on the Geelong line, the Vlocity DMU and N-Class locomotive hauled services. The Vlocity DMU was originally brought into service on the 22nd of December 2005. A total of 131 3-car sets were built. The N-class locomotives were brought into service in 1985. Twenty-five of these locomotives were produced. Vlocity: These DMUs are usually in a formation of 6-car sets on the Geelong line (3 + 3). I'm aware of the issues surrounding licensing with Australian operators; however, if V/Line gave the green light, this would be a great choice for the first Australian route.
