Era - 2010-2023 (Almost a decade but I will explain this toward the end of this thread)
    ———————————————————
I have always wanted to see the Great Eastern Mainline on TSW, just as it is on Train Sim Classic, but extended to Norwich with all branch lines included, whether the extension was to happen later after release or released with the base route.
    ———————————————————
Passenger Trains: Class 90, Class 321, Class 322, Class 360, Class 345 (Elizabeth Line AI), Class 360, Class 720, Class 745, Class 755.
    ———————————————————
Cover trains: Class 317 (For Class 321 diagrams), Class 321 (For Class 720 diagrams).
    ———————————————————
Freight Trains: Class 66, Class 90 (Main units I’ve seen on the mainline apart from units passing the mainline on route to a destination on another mainline, which could be AI operated to make it more realistic).
    ———————————————————
I realise there is a lot of trains mentioned to be released with the route, so I was going to suggest making a few if not most of the units buyable separately, like the Class 313 on ECW.
    ———————————————————
Alongside the branch lines I mentioned in the title of this thread, I was going to suggest making the route from London - Southend & Southminster separate to the GEML as it is a bit too much to ask having all of the desired routes all connected.
    ———————————————————
For the liveries on the mentioned trains such as the Class 66, Class 90 (both Passenger and Freight), Class 321 & the Class 317, I would imagine players would want the full set of liveries the mentioned units have had on them, and if not all liveries can be made then perhaps players could make liveries for the units on the Creators Club?
    ———————————————————
Now I’ll explain why I put the Era of the route as 2010-2023.

I chose this time period so there more realism for use of older liveries on the trains I mentioned in the previous paragraph, such as FGE, NXEA, Abellio Greater Anglia (not new Greater Anglia livery), etc.

The 2nd reason I chose this time period is so that there is a choice of when to operate diagrams on this route (like having the option to choose the Reduced or Full timetable on SEHS but it will have separate diagrams for each year, potentially satisfying many players, whether they like old or modern routes, giving them the option to choose a time era between 2010 and 2023.

The 3rd reason I chose this 13-year time slot is so that charter/railtour and farewell tours can be operated just like when it commenced in real life, such as many previous Steam rail tours and Farewell tours such as the Class 321 Farewell (being able to be fully completed if the player chooses to buy the Southend connection to Shenfield).
    ———————————————————
I have thought a lot about this route and about how to convince Dovetail Games to make this route and I have always wanted this route on TSW; it would be the best investment I could ever make, providing it is up to its standards, which is everything I have mentioned but, I don’t expect all of what I’ve mentioned to be possible but at least having the GEML on Train Sim Classic put on TSW would satisfy me with the mentioned trains. The trains I would mainly want are: Class 317, Class 321 & 322, Class 360, Class 720, Class 745 and/or Class 755.

I realise that units such as the Class 317, 321 & 322 are most likely unable to be made from going out and getting recordings and pictures and whatever is needed, but the Class 321 could be made in the game as there are still units that haven’t been scrapped and the Class 322 could be made from the 321, with its Northern Livery (Unbranded).

For the Class 360, the unit could be reviewed in person by seeing an EMR unit and perhaps using images to get the Greater Anglia livery on the unit?

Pretty much what I’ve just said could be done with each unit I’ve suggested. Apologies if this seems like too much effort but I would be so happy playing the GEML as my main route on TSW as TSC crashes 75% of the time due to the unstable nature of the route, which I would hope wouldn’t be the case if the route was made on TSW.

Thank you for taking time to read this thread and I really hope this route gets made in the future if not soon.

Forgot to mention! I would hope to see the Sunshine Coast line too either with the route or separate to buy so it can be used to complete the 321 Farewell and the Class 315 could be added for AI on the Elizabeth line from Shenfield to Liverpool Street alongside the 345!

Good idea but way too long for TSW, we could however get London to Ipswich with a few branches

Would be so much better in the 90s with Network Southeast liveried EMUs and Class 86s on Intercity trains

You might as well do it London to Norwich 112 mi 180km which makes it shorter by 3-5.9 miles 4.8-9 km than Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg Kassel Wilhelmshöhe Würzburg Hbf 115 mi 186 km.

The only reason KWG was that long was because there’s not many assets the devs needed to make. Having to model all the stations, Locos and scenery wouldn’t be possible.
