I suggest this route because it stays within the 50-70 miles that your average route in tsw is and the addition of the braintree branch keeps this route away from being very linear and adds variation to services that you can run. I think the lack of routes east of london is quite annoying and greater anglia would be quite a welcome addition to tsw. There could also be a chance that this route could be extended to ipswich or could feature colchester town but not both. I would love to see some sort of route in essex and following that, some sort of route in suffolk/norfolk.
