Just listening to the recording of last nights stream regarding updating 12 versions of the game causing time constraints. Have the team considered discontinuing support for gen 8 consoles to try and reduce those constraints?, or are there just so many people still playing on gen 8 that it makes it a poor business decision to do so?. Have there been any discussions on how long gen 8 support should continue?, gen 9 has been around for nearly 3 years now, it's no longer a new generation.
I think the only issue was the % of the playerbase that plays on Gen 8. However, now that supply issues have started to sort themselves out, I think the next TSW Game/Upgrade will see Gen 8 ditched. I think it has to.
I mean, if the next Forza game is Gen 9 only for Xbox, and with Microsoft only allowing games for Gen 9 consoles from now on, then it shouldn't be too much longer until DTG follow suit with the next TSW release
