I like these German steam locomotives. Would love to see a few of them in the game. I remember fun times with the BR86 from TSC, but also took the BR52 for a spin quite often.
The class 052 is rather confusing as the DB (german federal railway) had retired all class 52 locos by 1963 and used the class 052 for class 50 locos in the 1968 numbering scheme (50 2xyz became 052 xyz) so all DB 052 locos were actually class 50 locos and not class 52 locos with the final locos lasting until about the hard end of western german state railway steam in 1977 The class 52.80 and some unrebuilt class 52 locos of the DR survived long enough to be included in the renumbering scheme of 1992 when they were grouped into the now vacant class 052 with the final locos just surviving into the DB AG.
Ok then but for West Germany they still have DRG 01 DRG 03 which will become DB BR001 and DB BR003 one of these operated a set of pop colour coaches
