This route follows the Mosel River from Koblenz Hbf to Bullay. There we change to another service to the village Traben-Trarbach. The line is 72,2 km (44,8 miles) long in total. It has a lot of express trains, regional trains and freight trains. It has the following stations: - Koblenz Hbf* - Koblenz-Moselweiß - Koblenz-Güls - Winningen(Mosel) - Kobern-Gondorf* - Lehmen - Kattenes - Löf - Hatzenport - Moselkern - Müden(Mosel) - Treis-Karden* - Pommern(Mosel) - Klotten - Cochem(Mosel)* - Ediger-Eller - Neef - Bullay(DB)* - Reil - Kövenig - Traben-Trarbach The stations with a * are also served by the RE1. This part is chosen in my suggestion because it follows the river and has a lot of bridges and scenery. The reason for changing services in Bullay is that the part from Bullay to Traben-Trarbach passes a double-deck bridge and a bridge wall, that I want to have in TSW. Every hour the DB/CFL RE1/11 from Koblenz to Saarbrücken / Luxembourg, the DB RB81 from Koblenz to Trier and the Rhenus Veniro RB85 from Bullay to Traben-Trarbach operates the passenger trains. This line has the CFL KISS train and DB SÜWEX Flirt serves the RE1/11 together. The RB81 is driven by the Talent 2 and the RB85 by the BR650 RS1 train. The last photo is from the train that will overtake the current trains by December 2024. For those who want an older route, the route was operated by the BR143 loc with Dosto cars, the BR425 and BR628. Please discuss your preference of era in the reactions. I prefer the present because the trains drive more relaxed and react faster. The whole line is PZB-equipped. Between Koblenz and Bullay the line is double track and electrified. Between the bifurcation past Bullay and Traben-Trarbach, the line is single-track diesel-only.
