The Glasgow SouthWestern - North is a 36 mi route comprising of the Glasgow <> Kilmarnock Line and the East Kilbride branch.

It has 17 stations along the line these are:
    Glasgow Central
The main station on this route, of course. The station is already TSW as seen in Cathcart Circle.

The station has 17 platforms (including the 2 low level platforms) and multiple trains can be seen along 1 platform.
    Crossmyloof
This is as far as services to along the GSW are simulated on Cathcart Circle.
    Pollokshields West

    Kennishead
    Preisthill & Darnley
    Nitshill

    Dunlop
    Stewarton
    Kilmaurs
    and
    Kilmarnock

This station has 4 platforms, 2 bay platforms for services to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Stranraer, and 2 through platform for services to Glasgow Central, Dumfries and Carlisle.
Now for the East Kilbride Branch.
It has 7 stations from Busby Jn. as follows:
    Thornliebank
    Giffnock
    Clarkston
    Busby
    Thorntonhall
    Hairmyres
    and
    East Kilbride

A single platform station serving the 'New Town' of East Kilbride and the termini of the East Kilbride branch, It has a ticket hall and a small waiting area.

The rolling stock included with this route is the BR Class 156.

They were built by Metro-Cammel at their Washwood Heath Works in Birmingham and have a top speed of 75mph. They have coupling compatibility with Class 14X, 15X and 170's.
Not included with this route is the BR Class 380.

A ScotRail Class 380 at Glengarnock on the Ayrshire Coast line.
which will layer on as DLC from Cathcart Circle for fast and stopping shuttle services between Barrhead and Glasgow Central and eventually on the East Kilbride branch.

Service patterns - services along the GSW - North include:
2ph Glasgow Central to East Kilbride
    7tpd Glasgow Central to Carlisle
    3tpd Glasgow to Dumfries
3/4 tph Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock
1tph Glasgow Central to Barrhead (Cl380)
1tpd Glasgow Central to Ayr (Via Kilmarnock)
1tpd Glasgow Central to Girvan (Via Kilmarnock)
    (AI) 1tp2h Kilmarnock to Girvan
    (AI) 2tpd Kilmarnock to Stranraer

In my opinion this route should come to TSw because...
    1. Its another modern diesel route with a little electric mix-in.
    2. It has a varied service pattern along its main corridor giving plenty of stopping and fast services.
    3. It's not too linear and has end to end services as well as a branch line.
    4. It has something for everyone with fast services to Kilmarnock taking around 35 mins, slow services 50 mins and East Kilbride services 30 mins.

    Thank you for Reading!
