although it was done for train simulator classic, i would love to see this done for tsw4! year set in: 2010 trains used: the 2nd generation of glasgow subway stock. stations Partick Kelvinhall Hillhead Kelvinbridge St George's Cross Cowcaddens Buchanan Street St Enoch Bridge Street West Street Shields Road Kinning Park Cessnock Ibrox Govan
this is a good idea as a guy who lives in glasgow it would be great to add this but really its quite rare for a good idea to be read by a dev
TSC version was a bit boring after a couple of runs, particularly as you need to use ATO to keep time. Maybe as a novelty route for £12.99 perhaps.
It would be good for novolty however i think the ATO system would be complicated and one DTG would prob not be to interested in doing as it is something that i imagine is not easy to program giving how long it took us to get something like it in TSC. You could of course drive it manually but IRL this is not something done on a daily basis. The track gauge is also different to that of what we have in sim being with the subway being 4ft wide track gauge so would look odd if it was created on the stadard gauge track.
I would love to see this in the game and the beautiful thing about TSW being a game is that it doesn't have to match the real world 1:1. Of course, I refer to the ATO thing that has shown its weary head in other posts and it has often been seen in London Underground route suggestions. Just pretend it doesn't exist and let it be manual play.
