I just went to go on Glossop Line, It has worked no probs before but now it crashes and I get the send report screen then back to desktop, tried other engines but same thing. Has anybody else got this, I'm wondering if it is the update patch we just had? Col.
Just to make sure, please do the standard checks: - Any 3rd party mods installed? - Any engine ini changes? - Are you forcing DX12? - Have you verified files on Steam? If, despite having no mods or ini changes, not forcing DX12, and after completing a file verification the crashing persists, then it is more likely to be an issue with the game.
Not changed anything, it was working fine till just now, I tried the engine on a different route and it worked fine. I sent the crsh report in anyway. Col.
I posted in another thread I was looking to see if I could re-download this route but I'm not familiar with Steam so don't know where to look, I was clicking on all sorts but could not see where or how. Not sure that would cure it I may be just downloading a broken route that I already have. Col.
I have a further mystery with this now. I looked on Steam at my purchases and this route is not there. I can't remember when I did get it but it wasn't long ago as I've not had this sim long, only since early March, I'm stumped! Thing is when I look at the sales list it says I own it and I have been playing it fairly regular. Came back to add, I think I purchased this from the Game in 'Store' it is showing there that it is in my library and 'owned' but it isn't listed in Steam. Col.

If you choose to install unofficial mods that have been made without our authorisation or guidance, we cannot guarantee your experience. Therefore, we would kindly ask you to remove any mods before requesting further assistance in the future. This is especially important when there has been a new game update or release. Outdated mods may no longer be compatible, and will need to be updated by the author.
I just tried this route again, this time I selected Free Roam, then I selected the Class 323 which is designated for this route, then I selected a destination, didn't go too far just a siding about 10 miles away. Everything worked fine, so this has me puzzled, the right train on the right route throws up an error in normal mode but in Free Roam it works. I verified it in Steam, plus I also tried a re-install and still the error pops up, sorry to keep going on about this but if nobody complains nothing will get fixed. Col.
Hi col1948 , Could we kindly ask that you use the advice we provided several messages back and work through the Troubleshooting Crashes & Other Technical Issues Guide, please? If you are on a PC there are 1001 reasons why something may not work properly, that are not related to the game. On consoles, everyone has the same hardware and software for the most part. On a PC, there are near infinite combinations of hardware, software, and drivers, so there are a lot of more points of failure before you even get to the game. This is why we need everyone experiencing technical issues on PC to go through a few basic troubleshooting steps, before reporting a problem. Thank you for your understanding.
Ty Chris, went through all of the suggestions but no joy, seems strange though, just this one has started with a fault yet all the others work fine. There is one guy on here posted he too had a problem with this route but not seen anyone else. I went on YouTube and saw how to delete it, just done it so problem over. Col.
