Can you be specific about AI layers for this route? And which other routes are needed to see all layers?
It isn't very clear to me at this point..

It’s odd that Rose Hill services weren’t included between Man Picc and Hyde North, using the 150. Was there a reason for this, and could they be added in the future? Thank you.

^^ This. My biggest concern is that Man Pic has enough stock in it so it doesnt look like a ghost station.

Does Glossop have the same vegetation (meshes, billboards, dithering tech & textures) that Peak Forest has, and will all routes have this nice veg going forward? It makes a huge difference.

It would be good to know if DTG have any future expansion plans for this route?

Why was the decision taken to create what is by any measure a very short route?

Would it not have been better and a much more marketable prospect to do the Woodhead Line with Class 76 loco and Class 506 EMU, along with layers for the Jubilee and 8F? Could have been a grand experience. But I see many people not touching this until it rocks up in a sale, if then, particularly given the general pre-order discount is not available - only to BCC owners.

    1. Will the route feature to new way of making OHLE? From screenshots the wires look like they just merge into one another like routes before TSW 3.
    2. If not now, will you guys be looking to implement a guard feature like Skyhook did on their 158?

Why on earth are we still getting SoS Jubilee's layering into modern routes when they don't have AWS or even a Speedo?

Does the Rivet version at least sub in?

Are the Gossip Line & Guard scenarios part of the journey chapters?

Great to see some really creative gameplay additions to this DLC. I like that you are putting value on fun stuff to do instead of just trying to produce longer and prettier routes or more trains.

Can you talk about the process and thinking behind adding Guard mode and the photo scenario?

Do these features have to be well-received (and sales really high) for you to continue devoting time and effort to gameplay innovation?

1 - does the order discount that you get from owning BCC stack with the discount applied by game pass?
2 - what year is the route set and did the 323 ever run in the modern northern livery or was it not the old one? Is the livery period correct?
3 - are we likely to see modern 332/195s any time soon as a dlc for this route?

I can answer Q1 now, no discount from BCC and gamepass discounts doesnt stack, its max 10% discount regardless.

a bit of a cliché, but why this route?
What was the thinking behind this route and why not woodhead, which certainly is a popular choice within the community?

Personally, I dont have any problems with the glossop line, i am gettin it, but i thought that we could get it on playstation for sale, not playstation plus, so i want to know why on playstation plus and not on sale and i though that the 331 is going to be in it like it is here, also i got this info from wikipidea:

That is interesting, I could not find it at all on YouTube. OK, got it sorted, there is a separate Train Sim Classic channel which I was not subscribed to.

Just watched your live stream of the Glossop line. I'm very disappointed that you have spent a lot of time putting in a guard scenario and missed the opportunity to have a virtual guard operating the buzzer when you are driving, which is what would happen in real life and would add another level of operation to be done when you are driving.
It would be great to see the guard scenario extended to more runs on the Glossop line and other routes, within TSW3, where a guard would operate.

Looks like a fun Route; though the scenery looks a bit bland, like Routes from 2019 or so.

Given the MML 157 has just this it's even more bizarre.

Yep, agreed - all this talk of guard mode in the article we kinda wrongly assumed there would be a virtual guard on the train when we were driving - as in the 158!

Add the guard mode option into tinetable and let it to be able to choose between being a driver or the guard

Right now the glossop line is looking pretty decent, the guard mode is alright and the scenery looks accurate. But I swear there was a top speed of 75mph on this route not 60mph

Sony own the PlayStation store not DTG so the discount will be agreed with Sony and rightly so it offers a discount to its + owners as it’s part of the agreement users get when signing up for it.
The image you have linked is from Wikipedia. It a DTG inage they have NEVER said a 331 is coming to this route it has always been the stock we have been shown

With a static Class 76 as the Mastery Reward, who knows, we may yet get Woodhead Route at some future point. Clearly adding this one item means that the line has not been completely forgotten in its former guise.

Watching the stream a t the moment, not seen all of the features yet but a couple of things I like and a question, I like the fact that the route map appears to be ripe for extension at some point and i also like the fact that the 323 is being used on another route , so with this last point in mind I would like to ask if there are any plans to build any routes that utilise the 158? Also this idea of making slightly cheaper routes that use existing trains is actually quite a smart idea, personal requests for the 158, a Welsh route or a Birmingham to mid Wales route perhaps

The below site indicates 75mph throughout from Fairfield to Dinting Viaduct. It could be wrong of course, but on the routes where I know the PSRs, it’s very accurate. If on the TSW3 version it’s 60mph, I’d be interested to know their source for this. It’ll make quite a big difference because the 323s have rapid acceleration and would certainly make use of the 75mph limit if indeed that is the correct limit.

Yeah, Even on don coffey's cab ride of it you can see he is speeding up to 75mph, there's a little shot of the speedometer at 6:40

Well, I went hunting through the comments for the video and eventually found someone asking the maximum speed on the line (I knew someone would!) and Don responds that it’s 60mph. I also went hunting for appropriate PSR signs and couldn’t find anything above 60mph. The shot of the speedometer you mention appears to show the train doing 62mph, so obviously a slightly flexible interpretation of the line speed! I suspect the 75mph reported by openrailmap is out of date. I’d be surprised if this section of route was 60mph throughout when it was part of the Woodhead line to Sheffield, as the formation looks easily capable of permitting higher speeds. It may have been lowered at some point to reduce maintenance costs.

Under the current timetable, 323 units do not go from Hadfield directly to Dinting. On the return journey they all go via Glossop, only one service uses ' the Woodhead ' platform. That's the first service from Piccadilly to Hadfield on a Sunday morning.

And I don't think we should be drawing attention to the fact the driver might have been speeding a bit. Way to get someone in trouble and the clip taken down.
