I had this idea the other day the route from Gloucester to Newport as so many people want a wales route in the game this would be perfect, you would go under the iconic Severn bridge and past the Prince of wales bridge (m4). I’m pretty sure it should have a class 170 turbo star and maybe the HST. I think this route would be perfect because it isn’t too long and it’s not linear at all, they could also In the future add the branch under the seven tunnel just past Severn tunnel junction in undy. There is 6 stops on this route: Gloucester, lydney, Chepstow, caldicot, Severn tunnel junction and Newport. There is also a steam railway in lydney so they could add that In the near future. Operaters on this route are cross country and TFW (transport for wales). This route is 38 miles long and takes up to 50 minutes to an hour to complete. Other rolling stock used for this route is listed below. Let me know what you would think of this route being In the game and correct me if I wrong with anything!

This is indeed a nice ride alongside the Severn estuary.

Sticking point probably getting a TfW and/or Cross Country licence though could be set back in BR Provincial days, i.e. pre privatisation but you would need a Class 155 for the Western Provincial services and a 156 for those operated by the Midland (that became Central Trains). Though at a pinch you could use a 158 as these did start to cover the service after introduction in 1991.
