Very excited to be going on my first rail tour tomorrow which goes from London Kings Cross up to York. I will be taking a keen interest in the section between Peterborough and Doncaster as it’s one of my favourite TSW routes. It will take around 3 hours to complete this section which seems a bit of a plod but should be able to take plenty in and hopefully I will be able to get a good glimpse of the Mallard speed record sign between Peterborough and Grantham.
I tried Googling, but I got a new Dutch train called 'Sprinter New Generation' What is sng in the UK?
60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' was on the St Albans City - York run and was put on at Peterborough. 44871 Black 5 was on the Kings Cross - York tour and ran throughout.
