As passengers train need passengers to look realistic, US freight trains need wide variety of cars and variety locos in the consist. After the SMH upgrade I got randomly such consist in the timetable service (picture). And thats what I call quite an achievement for small effort (just subbing current locos in to current routes) and effect is wow. Im not US loco conservatist so for me dash 8 can replace dash 9 Good path DTG!
So livery substitution is finally better on SMH than it used to be? I remember that previously some cars had livery substitution, while others did not. I don't remember about the locomotives though.
