Trying to make a route in the editor can get the locations and pin drops all working fine. However when it comes to adding the route in the editor and inputting the google co ordinates and generating the area the landscape is not showing and it is just the flat chequered square I am still getting. I am have tried entering the co ordinates various ways adding the + or - which the area shows on google but still flat. What is it I am doing wrong as banging mt head here lol. Many thanks
What is the location of your route? Do you use right projection for DTM data when exporting (EPSG 3857) ? In what projection is the source data?
I did select EPSG 3857 what I did notice though the only one it was offering me was 2d there was no option to select 3D
Just having a look and all tutorials i am watching are telling me to set 4326 not 3857. When i put in 4326 it is only giving me a 2d option not 3d like certain videos are showing on youtube ? When i type in 3857 this is what it is showing me:

Thanks in advance though. oh also the google co ordinates i am using for the area is: that is exactly how i am popping it in when trying to input the terrain when i select new project in the editor i enter 51.41202 then in next box -3.24894 but it dont put terrain in just still the chequred floor.
OK, I've used your coordinates, downloaded 2 files from https://environment.data.gov.uk/survey lidar_composite_dtm-2022-1-ST06ne.zip lidar_composite_dtm-2022-1-ST16nw.zip exported them as 1 file with EPSG 3857 with resolution 1 meter and it works for me (there is no data on the edges that's why there are "walls"):
