Hello folks, I´ve subscribed to a credit card contract to set up an google maps api key (unlimited at the moment) only to see ... nothing! Who can help? (Key is put into the field, check box is checked, HD level 3, satellite)
I had the same problem and found I had to log into Google and enable the key for this type of use in the editor. I can’t remember exactly where I eventually found the page which allows you to enable or disable the key for various kinds of applications, but log in and have a good look at the options.
you shouldn't need to input your credit card into anything. Google Maps API keys are free, as I found out with a quick search. Here is a Youtube video with helpful instructions (not mine) (At least I hope I'm right about that, I'm new to all this too, but it worked for me!) Edited to add: ...or at least it gave me a key. Haven't got the overlay working in my plugin yet.
At the moment, the key is not restricted at all. Is there any option in the editor I need to set up correctly?
Can someone please help me, I can not get the Google Maps working, I have the right API and everything but it just wont load
