Hi all, today i will be making a suggestion of the first ever London Overground route for TSW3. Route overview The Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside Line is a busy commuter line passing through the northern and eastern suburbs of the capital. There are 13 stations across the line, serving different community’s throughout the suburban neighbourhoods of london. The route is 13 miles (22km) long and operates using the Class 710/1 & /2 ‘Aventra’ electrical multiple units. Aswell as passenger services, this commuter line is crucial to freight services across the entire country, as it connects the docks in the east to the mainlines in the north of the city, meaning there will be plenty of freight services to include in the timetable and AI. Trains included in the route The route will come with the Class 710/1 & /2 ‘Aventra’ emu and the Class 66 ‘Shed’ The class 710/1 & /2 would be a brand new train to the game, aswell as being the first of the currently popular aventra family of trains to be implemented into tsw3. The 710/1 is 25kv AC only, whereas the 710/2 is dual voltage and can run on both 25kv AC & 750v DC (Third rail). These trains were built between 2017 & 2020 and are a crucial part in decarbonising the london overground network and increasing capacity on its routes. The class 66 “shed” has been seen before many times in tsw3, and possibly with this release it could come with either a GBRf or FreightLiner livery, however this may not be possible due to liscensing. Services The route operates at a frequency of 4 tph (every 15 minutes) throughout the day (0630-2330) from monday to saturday and finishing earlier at 2200 on sundays. There would also be a high frequency of freight services operating across the line to represent the reality of the route. Layers Players who own this route could layer on the class 710 onto the Bakerloo line between Queen’s park and harrow and wealdstone, also giving it the potential to one day be extended to watford junction in the future. Summary As this route is fairly short in length, but still dense in scenery nonetheless, i think it would be an ideal first london overground route for the game as it wouldn’t be the trickiest to develop or the most confusing for that matter. As it is a shorter route, i imagine people wouldn’t pay the standard £29.99 for a route of this length and so it should be priced between £19.99 and £24.99 as seen prior to TSW3. I have also linked some photos relating to the route below. Thanks for reading my route suggestion, and let me know your opinions down below on it.
Bring it on and for the route itself it's a TSC route that has Gospel Oak to Barking line combined with North and West London lines and is requested for TSW. Best Value is actually combing it with North and West London lines
