If it's a scenario that uses the advanced version and it's a cold start, then it must be cold started. If you are in quick drive or building a custom scenario, use a running version of the gp20 to avoid the startup procedure. Both GP20s (SP and WP) are Pro Line models and are more advanced than regular locomotives.
