Any idea why the GP9 doesn't have a repaint option in the livery creator? So many possibilities with the GP9.
Because it is a TSW2020 DLC. There was no livery designer back then, therefore the loco has no areas defined for LD to use.
Trust me it’s better if it’s not available for LD as they’ll probably broke something, like they did for the GWE HST.
The same could be said about the other DLCs but this one in particular was never updated to have a livery. it cant just be when it was released.
But that is the answer to your question. There is no repaint option for the GP9 because it has not been updated to have that option.
My question was to why hasn't it been updated or allowed to be painted. Your reply to my original post didn't make sense.
Would be nice if it did get updated like the Caltrain stuff did, its a nice little locomotive that doesnt get enough love.
It's a long and manual process for every single train. It's not just a simple task that can be made in one hour. It takes weeks to get it retextured so ld works and to test it
