Hello all, This could be a more general PC issue but I know we have plenty of experts on here! I hadn’t played TSW for a few days (been away on holiday) so fired it up. No noticeable change, in fact recent Nvidia driver updates I’ve seen improvements - see separate thread. Now it could be the effect that because something looks wrong I’ll start looking for issues. I use GeForce Experience I don’t have it always on, just have a little check now and again! This can be done via the in game overlay. To my alarm it showed - GPU usage at 0% and occasionally at 2%! CPU usage between 20-30% which is normal. And fan speed showing 0RPM! To my alarm I thought the game looks fine, I can see the fans are running! Is there an internal issue? After panicking I opened up task manager which showed GPU usage of between 95-98% which is what I’m used to, settings maxed out etc. So is there a genuine GPU issue? Or is this a fault with Nvidia GeForce Experience in game overlay that isn’t picking the GPU up for whatever reason. I know it’s not a general TSW issue, I’m just worried! My specs for reference; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB 13th Gen Intel Core17-13700KF 32GB RAM 2560 x 1440, 144Hz
i do not use experience it probably is just some software bug in experience overlay stats not proper updating or whatever
Included in the open issues for the current driver is "GeForce Experience Performance Monitoring overlay may stop refreshing GPU information [4679970]". Sound like what you're seeing?
