Gradient Indicator As A Independent Indicator

Is it possible, to move gradient indicator to upper corner and left it, as an independent?
It would be great choice for mor realistic driving without HUD, but using important knowledge about gradient on the line. Normally train driver knows about gradient on the line, and can react in time.

 

Wouldn’t make much of a difference in my opinion

 

I would love to see when the next gradient change comes into effect like I can for signal and speed changes
